Hi, just recently I unchecked a box that says "Always ask before opening this type of file." And I have no clue how to get it back. For those of you who don't know, I want to get this pop-up back:

I used system restore to change back my settings, but is there a way to get this menu back without doing that?

It also usually works to go into Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab and put a check in "Notify when downloads complete." When that works (always has worked for me), it will restore the download option message box for all downloads.
