I noticed that my cpu was at 100% even with all applications stopped; mmc.exe was taking every cycle it could get. I ended it and all seems well thus avoiding a reboot.

Anyone seen this before? Was wondering what might've caused it.

    Hi Marty,

I'd never even seen the Console until you mentioned it, but on my system the CPU usage is 0%.

What caused it? How about residual effects from what happened in Max Yasgur's pasture in August '69? :D (Look at his profile, people!)

Edit: I know, I know ... the pasture was in Sullivan County, and Woodstock is in Ulster County, but there's still magic in the name -- and, no, I wasn't there. For anyone who still doesn't know what I'm talking about, or who simply is curious, see here for more info.

    Jim,

I have filezilla server installed as a service under manual startup and was trying to get that doing what I want - w/o success. :(

Also I have WinVNC running and I think one of the other boxes on my lan crashed, maybe mid-request. From googling this exe that looks like the likely culprit though these were my two recent activities when noticing the problem.

Yeah, normally my cpu's running around zero too... after all you've really gotta be into something to keep a 1.8 GH chip spinning.

Oh, the concert site's an hour or more west of Woodstock. The town from what I've heard wised up, oops, I mean they backed out at the last minute back in '69 when I was just a wee lad.

    Take care.

    Marty

BTW, when I cut and paste your http://feedthebulldog.com/ I get a "You are not authorized to view this page" response. Adding a www. is no help. ???

Thanks for reminding me Jim. That site's no longer extant, so I've just changed my profile to my business site; hope I don't get yelled at by Arie or someone.
