    Hi All,
I installed SpywareBlaster a few months ago, but starting today, I cannot open it to check for updates...I am getting this message:

    "Runtime error '-2147417848 [80010108]':
    Automation Error "

I uninstalled the program, cleaned out the registry of any leftovers, then reinstalled SpywareBlaster, but I'm still getting the same error message.

Does anybody know of a fix for this?

    Thanks

    Hi Lonny,
For some reason, my problem fixed itself...I guess computers are like that sometimes...

I have bookmarked the site in case the problem reoccurs...Thanks for the help!

thats another good technical term i can add to my list of favorites

I left it alone and windows fixed it or the problem fixed itself

When I get my job situation fixed, I am going to buy or build a new computer...This machine I'm using now has seen better days...Maybe it was causing the problem to begin with.

    Regards,
