    Hi all,
Has anyone got or seen an app than can pick the links out of
an .html or .htm file, try to connect to them and report dead
    links ?
    regards

    merlin--AM Deadlink
    http://www.aignes.com/products.htm
will check all the links in your Favorites folder automatically (not one by one). I do not know if you could disable your existing Favorites folder, create a new one and put all those links you want to check in there, followed by running AM Deadlink. Afer getting the results, you would delete the fake Favorites folder and re-enable your real Favorites folder. (There are other scenarios such as taking all your present Favorites out of the Favorites folder, storing them somewhere and putting the links you want to check into the Favorites folder before running AM Deadlink. Or just putting the links you want to check into your Favorites folder and letting AM Deadlink scan the whole thing, etc.)
I think I have too much time on my hands today.

Jim, Thanks for the reply and link.
I was more concerned with checking my webpage links than my
Favorites folder, but your help has enabled me to clear out
lots of Favorites links as well.:)

merlin--Glad I was of some help. I did know that AM Deadlink was for the Favorites folder. My ruminations were trying to come up with some way to use it to also scan your webpage links, essentially by putting them into the Favorites folder and then using AM Deadlink.
