Somehow, I no longer have opengl so I went to download it, but upon putting it on my computer and extracting it I realized I had no idea where the files go. So now I need to know where I put the opengl files after I have them on my computer.

Edit: To the three people who have looked at this and everyone else who might later... please at least post saying you don't know the answer. That way I know you don't just think I'm an idiot. Thanks!

Must not have been too much of a problem then.

Checked in my install of XP Pro .......

    opengl32.dll is in C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\System32\dllcache and also C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386 - size 670 Kb

No other files showed up under opengl. Post a list of the file names.

    Captain - welcome to you.

If you hang around this forum very long you will notice a complete absence of the 'well sorry but I don't know an answer' replies except possibly for a brief time before a mod spots one.

And it the same poster should persist, you would also notice the absence of said poster.

Although in fairness, it's been a good while since I've seen any of that sort of nonsense on here.

    No, I didn't find a solution....

    The files are:
    GL.H
    GLAUX.H
    GLAUX.LIB
    GLU32.DLL
    GLU32.LIB
    GLU.H
    OPENGL32.DLL
    OPENGL32.LIB

My "solution" was a website telling where to put them, but I'm missing a folder that I need :(

AFAIK - OpenGL will be installed by your video driver if the card supports it - or by a game, if needed??
