well i thought id give mozilla a try after many years of netscape (hate the look of ie)

only gripe i have so far is the bookmarks menu. how do i get it like the netscape menu? i dont like the scroll idea, rather have them all shown (as in netscape).
    thanks for help

    Welcome to the Forum, bazza!

    Hi bazza,

That's the only way you can view Bookmarks. Eventually you will get used to the scrolling... It's the same way in Netscape 7.x. You must be using Netscape Communicator, in which you can view Bookmarks in multiple columns.

It depends on the number of bookmarks. If you have a manageagle number , then you can place the bookmarks into folders, and see your folder from your Personal Toolbar. And, make the personal toolbar really personal. With judicious abbreviations, I can have as many as sixteen folders, which takes care of every bookmark. I use the Bookmarks|File bookmarks to place new bookmarks where I can see them.
It took me a while to get things organized, but I would not want them any other way.

What I don't like about Mozilla's bookmarks is you can't right click on an item in the bookmarks and see its properties and you can't move folders by dragging them. You have to go into Manage Bookmarks to do these things.
