   I just did an upgrade from Windows 98SE to XP. Where does XP save the Windows 98 backup? If I don't need this, I want to delete it.

   It should be listed in Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, and can be removed from there.

   That is where I thought it would be too, but it wasn't. I formatted the hard drive and did a clean install of XP on NTFS. XP works much better without Win98 under it.
