Ihave been running XPhome for a month now not done a lot but started yesterday had problems with backing up to cd-rws decided to restore which I hadn't done before there was no help and support same with msconfig, and nothing in system tools also I don't have a disc

I haven't got the faintest idea what your question is. Maybe try describing the problem again, using punctuation marks?

Also expand on your phrases,ie;

"decided to restore "? restore from the backup disc or what??? Did you restore or are you trying/wanting to restore?

"no help and support, same with msconfig, nothing in system tools" Are these current problems or problems after "restore "? Can you be a bit more descriptive in the problems your having in these areas?

"don't have a disk" What disk...XP disk? Is this OEM with xp quickrestore on separate partition? Need computer manufacturer specifics in this case.
