i switched motherboards and cpus and now i have a problem. i can't see the floppy drive under windows. it is active in the bios, i can use it to boot from a floppy, but once windows 2000 professional is full running i have no floppy drive. i've tried repairing the operating system, but the drive has not re-appeared. i'm thinking it is a corrupt registry. any hints, suggestions, directions will be appreciated

In the device manager, right click any device and click on "Scan for hardware changes" and see if windows detects and installs the Floppy (Guess you've been down this path B4?)
