Anybody around have any knowledge of the Inno3D GeForce4 MX 440 8X AGP video card?

I ask because I read something about 12 displays being supported. I automatically thought that meant 12 monitors could run off of it. Looking at the card, there's only the regular 15pin blue plug and the dvi? plug that an adapter plugs into making it anouther blue 15pin plug.

That only allows 2 monitors to hook up to it.

So how do you get more than 2?!

I highly suspect the 12 monitors refers to the number of MAKERS of monitors the card will support.

For multiple monitor setups you could do no better than look at the Matrox site - they are the masters (?) of multiple monitor setups.

Daddad, I'm wondering is the 12 displays didn't have something to do with 'virtual' desktops on one monitor...

Steve R Jones, I don't want the same display on each of 4 monitors...I want to be able to view 4 monitors each having it's own window or program running. That switch looks like it just take one signal and dump it to multiple monitors.

PeteC, I'm going back to the Matox site and read a little more...but from what I've gathered so far each port can only hangle 2 monitors...if the card has 2 ports, maybe then 4 monitors can be supported.
    Am I reading this right?

And if the card doesn't have 2 ports I guess I'll have to install 2 video cards?

You may also have to invest in some thicker glasses.
