    Hi,

    Is there a way to get the box back up , in Netscape 7.1 , on how you want it to handle a file or if you want it to save a file ? There was one file , a .wax file , which I wish I had chose save , since the default player for that type file turned out to be Windows Media player , which took many time outs and lock ups , when playing it online. There was a piece of music from the old movie , The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse , that was able to find for my mother , who wanted to hear it again. I am NOT interest in illegal downloads , just want to be able to save it to be able to play the piece from beginning to end , plus be nice how to be able to bring up the box on how you want change how Netscape 7.1 is to handle a file. Saving in Media Player only saved location on WEB same if use combination of keystrokes at the WEB site play icon..

    Thank You, RGSJR

    Welcome to the Forum, RGSJR!

    Hi RGSJR,

    To get the "Open with" dialog window:
    Clear the Location Bar
    Type in: about:config
    Scroll down to this entry:
    browser.helperApps.alwaysAsk.force
    Right click
    Select: Modify
    Type in: false

    Can you give us the link to the location of the .wav file you want to save?

    Have you checked the C:\WINDOWS\Temp directory, to see if the .wav file is listed there.

    Ramona :D

    Hi Ramona,

    I tried entering about :config in the Open window in Netscape 7.1 and it said it could not find it. I assumed the about was a folder name and looked and could not find it , either.

    It took me awhile to find the site again and they changed it a little , since its home page now tells you it uses Media Player. I went to play the piece again , to get the tmp file again and opened it in notebook and saved its text , which pasted in below. I put the site address below the text of the tmp file.

    Thank You, RGSJR

    P.S. : Does Netscape 7.1 which has Mozilla 5 , also have the feature where its does not download spyware , that I saw someone mention about Mozilla ?
    Again, Thank You Very Much, RGSJR

    This is what was in the tmp file :

    <ASX version = "3.0 ">
    <TITLE>Todotango.com</TITLE>
    <MOREINFO HREF= "http://www.todotango.com" />
    <Entry>

    </Entry>
    </ASX>

    This is the site address :
