I have a 'launch Outlook' icon in the launch bar and this little quirk has just started. I ran Detect and Repair to no effect. I'm running XP Pro SP1.

Create a new short cut to C:\Windows\System\Show Desk top

Can drag it to the quick launch bar if you'd like. See if that helps.

Thanks but it didn't. In fact I deleted the .scf file instead of the old .lnk file then found a web site with the data for making a replacement. It still didn't help though.
