I have two problems I could really use some help with.
    1) Whenever I log in for the past week I have been receiving an error message stating: dynamic library link error can not access c:\windows\system\ctrlpan.dll

I have tried everything to locate this file. I have even looked at the start-up disk but can not find it. What can I do to correct this?

    2) My computer is not saving any of the changes I make. I don't know if this is because of error #1 above or not but once I log off and log back on the next day all my changes revert back to what they were the day prior .. this seems to be mainly affecting my internet options..?? home page was changed to one I don't want and now when I change it back to the one I want - it only stays as long as my computer is on. As soon as it is turned off and restarted it's back to the internet options I don't want...

    Please help.....

    Thanks!!!

    Thank you!

Yep, Aleekat, that looks like it will solve one of my problems. This is very frustrating, especially since I have Norton Anti virus software!! I'm upset they didn't catch it.

Thank you for the page on how to fix/repair this problem.
