Let me clarify. In Windows Explorer, when you click on A: drive, it opens "Find Files and Folders" window? Does it happen also when you click on any other drive?

This will require you to check the properties of the following and make changes where needed, via the folder option settings. (This sounds more difficult than it is. Just walk through the process and it will make sence as you go along.)

NOTE*Once you get to where I'm steering you: If something is bolded when it shouldn't be or not bolded when it should be....
Click on the action word such as find, open, explore, to highlight it. Hit the "set default" button to bold or unbold as needed.

First we need to get to the file types tab of the folder option settings........
*Double click on the My Computer icon located on desktop.
*Click on the top menubar button entitled "View ".
*Scroll down to and click on "Folder Options ".
*From popup Click on the "File Types" tab.

    Drive properties should be:
*Scroll down the list to the file type named "Drive ".
    *Double click on it.
*Action listed should be "find" and it is not bolded.
*If it is you must UN-bold it (for lack of a better description)

    Do the same for...

    "File Folder" properties should be:
*Scroll down the list to the file type named "File Folder ".
    *Double click on it.
*Action should be "find" and it is not bolded. Once again, if it is you must UN-bold it (for lack of a better description)

    Do the same for....

    "Folder" properties should be:
*Scroll down the list to the file type named "Folder ".
    *Double click on it.
*Two Actions listed should be "open" and "explore ". Open is the bolded default and explore is not bolded. Once again, you must Bold or UN-bold it.

    ================
I hope this is not to confusing, if it is, just append to post and perhaps I or another can rephrase the explanation so it may be easier to follow.
