When I right-click on certain icons on the desktop, I get ...
explorer caused an invalid page fault in module shell32.dll @ 0187:66817cc0
    registers....
The desktop then reloads, but tray icons disappear.
How do I get my right-click functions back?

Replacing the shell32.dll from the Windows disk did not fix the problem, but the error location changed to 0187:7fcc5668.
Problem fixed by unstalling and reinstalling Power Desk v.5
