pc mouse become slow when i tried to cancle or end task doc

hi here come a new pain!~~~~~~~~~
nowdays i have a problem when i try to open any office and if file got a problem can't be open so i do cancel or closing by end task but i perform these action my mouse activity becoem slow down very slow like i have use hand to move the cursor of mouse..
what's this problem happening during i cancel the doc file or closing by end task.... what's wrong what's the fault it seems office don't have any errors or error in windows..
any suggestion to prevent from this problem and when i resetart everything okey..
plzzz..

then problem is when i open file from flopy and suddenly i remove floppy but files is still open then i cancel doucements and so it become suddenly slowdown the mouse ....
if floppy is there and i cancel is okey but if i remove floppy and then cancel suddenly same problem occured........
can u help..... is it i have unistall and install office and office2000 is installed in my pc but office 'not any problem but i don't know during removing flopies and press end task problem occurs ..

That does create a problem. The system is still looking for the floppy.

There is the answer. Wait until the file is closed then remove the floppy.

The reason being ( I believe ) is that Office ( and some other prgrams ) auto save the file when closing. And if the flie was loaded from the floppy and it is not there it may still be looking for it anyway.

If a file is open from the Floppy then it must be closed fromt he floppy.

I ran into about the same problem when I opened a file from a Re-writeable CD and removed the CD before closing the file.
