Tab key problems and more...

Don't know if this is the correct forum to post these questions...

I can't use my tab key in Word or in any program. When I press it, it opens up other programs. When there are no programs open, it just won't "tab ". I have to space or use my cursor. This started yesterday...Help me please

Some Word documents have{private} when I delete the "private ", then where the private was, there is "Error! bookmark not defined" when I print the document.

Thanks for any help. I have more problems, but this will do for now!

Hello Donna,

Welcome.

Have you a System Restore point just prior to or reasonably close to the problem? If so, restore back to that point.

Perhaps "starting again ", you'll be able to see what triggered it.

Have you tried:
To reboot?
Clicked on Esc?
Using Alt and Tab? As it almost sounds like the Alt Key is stuck.
Tried a different keyboard?
