I access all of my Yahoo Groups via the web. This worked fine until Saturday. I haven't been online to change anything, changed no preferences. I checked our desk top and the preferences are the same as my laptop and I can access Yahoo Groups on it (the desktop). Both my laptop and the desktop is running Windows XP with Earthlink Total Access as ISP.

I can get to my main 'Groups' page that lists all of my groups but when I click on any, there is either a 'Page Cannot Be Displayed', 'Unknown Error' or just a page full of ascii type. Every single group is like that. I haven't had any problems getting to any other web pages so far. I've cleared my cache, cookies ect. The usual stuff. Like I said, I can access on my desktop and from my computer at work.

    Help!

    Rhonda Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

Try deleting your cookies. If that doesn't work, you can try the proven method of solving yahoo problems, wait it's yahoo.

You might also try posting in this forum . Some of the people here seem to know more about yahoo than yahoo does.

Sometimes, with Yahoo, deleting cookies does more harm than good. Try going to the homepage www.yahoo.com and log in from there (you will need to know your user name and password. Then go to "my groups ". If that doesn't work, post back

    Fixed Itself!

Well, it fixed itself. I went back through all the old posts on here because it seems I'd had this problem a year or so ago and I kept trying to do the HOSTS thing that people suggested but the next time I tried to log in (to show my husband I wasn't going nuts for no reason....), everything was back to normal.

    I really hate computers sometimes!

And I had cleared my cache and cookies, temp files ect. already. I'd contacted Yahoo support and that's all they suggested. <sigh>

But at least I'm back in business!

    Thanks for the tips.
