device failure

Hi
When playing games over the internet at some point the games crash and I get an error message that windows has detected a device failure. My display then goes to lowest settings and I am advised to reboot. In the event viewer I have 2 errors One is the Service Control Manager - "The Nsynas32 service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the device specified."
The other is IPNATHLP "The Network Address Translator (NAT) was unable to request an operation of the kernel-mode translation module. This may indicate misconfiguration, insufficient resources, or an internal error. The data is the error code. Bytes 0000: 1f 00 00 00 "
I did recently have to get rid of a virus Downloader.Mscache and I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I have reinstalled my video drivers and directx but the same thing happens. Ive also tried sfc /scannow in case any files were missing. System restore is turned off so I cant try that.

Are you using ICS or a router/switch for your NAT?

Also, when reporting event log items, it's easier (and a way to insure you don't do a typo) to open the event, click on the icon below the up/down arrows to send a text copy to your clipboard, and paste that in the thread. More detail, less work, no errors.

I looked for Nsynas32 service information and came up blank.

Im on cable and Played Redfaction for an hour and it never happened once! Must have fixed itself. Back to trying to install the Sims for my son now and the usual cab file errors.
