    Dear ls,

We have two PC's with Windows 2000 Professional, the problem is when we try save a file any file from the explorer or Word, Excel. The PC reboots automatically. The hardware manufacturer allready replaced all the parts, but the problem still remains. So this is likely a software problem (Windows 2000).

Is this problem known by anybody, or does somebody have a solution.

    Thanks in advance,

    Sukru

Does your system have the same problem when saving to the floppy drive in safemode?
If not, find out what programs are started on boot or device drivers that may be in conflict.
Also check your hardware interupts. The floppy drive I believe is on IRQ6, which is ISA based. Meaning no IRQ sharing is allowed.
