    This error report includes: information regarding the condition of (application that crashed) when the problem occorred;
    the operating system version and computer hardware in use: your Digital Product ID, which could be
    used to identify your license; and the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer.

    We do not intentionally collect your files, name, address, email address or any other form of personally
    identifiable information. However, the error report could contain customer-specific information such as
    data from open files. While this information could potentially be used to determine your identity, if
    present, it will not be used.

    The data that we collect will only be used to fix the problem. If more information is available, we will tell
    you when you report the problem. this error report will be sent using a secure connection to a database
    with limited access and will not be used for marketing purposes.

    First of all, you can turn off error reporting (Control Panel, System, Advanced) and you do not have to send any info to MS. If you want help to keep your comp from crashing, you need to be more specific about the problem- like what app is causing the error report, events occuring before the fail, and maybe what the error log says. If you are having to reformat every 12 hours, you have a problem, and we might be able to guide you through it, but you have to explain clearly just what the problem is.

    Have you checked the game's web site to see if there are any patches available. It's rare for a PC game not to have at least one patch released within weeks, if not days, of the game's release.

    If you tell us what you were trying to install when it crashed, we might be able to help you better. Also, if you tell us what game, or games, cause the crashes, we might be able to help you better.

    Posting Rule # 3 calls for a meaningful title to a post. Feel free to try again but use a title that says what your problem is.

    It would also help out if you clearly stated what YOU see as your problem in the initial post.
