    Get this message when trying to activate new OE installation on WIN 98 SE. Have downloaded updates and patches. Got the same message before the updates. The message states there is not enough memory or disk space. I have 256 MB RAM and 2 GB of HD space available. Suggestions?

    Possibly a font cache error.

    1.) Uninstall OE in Add/Remove.

    2.) Open regedit and navigate to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{44BBA840-CC51-11CF-AAFA-00AA00B6015C}

    Export the key and delete it.

    3.) Reinstall OE.

    P.S.

    You may need to install OE through IE6 setup in 98, or through Add/Remove, IE, Add Component.

    Tried all the suggestions. As stated everything seem to be clear. However, after removing OE and reinstalling it through the IE service pack 1 twice, the same messages appered. Should I have reinstalled from the 98 cd, then downloaded the service pack? IE works fine. Larry M
