Just installed a Jaton Video-118PCI-32 card so that I could have 3D on my Windows98 (PII). Every thing looked and worked allright until I experimented with a some of the setting controls that was on the task bar icon. Well to make a long story short, whenever I start my pc everything looks normal during startup then just at the last the desktop changes from my normal settings to something like looking at an old color photo negative.

I have tried to contact Jaton on line. Their online regisration does not work and apparantly their e-mail either, can't get them to answer me. Their web page really stinks. There isn't any documentation on how to use the settings, and, there is no information on the CD that came with the darn thing.

Is there anyone out there that knows how to setup or use this type of video card? VGA JATON GF2 MX400 32MB RTL

Thank you, Daddad, but I have that documentation. It tells nothing about how to use the setting or what they mean, especially for a lay person like myself. All they descripe is how the installation process works, and it is quite simple since a windows wizard does it for you.

I may have bitten off more than I can chew on this one. If everything else fails I'll just put to old (original) 2D card back in.
