whenever I try to open something in a new window in explorer, nothing loads. I have the same problem when I click a link at it auto opens it in a new window, nothing loads, just a white background...if I press stop then rather than the proper address that should be coming up it has this line 'res://C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHDOCLC.DLL/navcancl.htm'

its quite annoying not being able to open in a new window, can anyone help?

    Hi banjofred,

Welcome to BBS. It would be helpful if you could give us some details about your system.

What operating system do you have........Win 98, ME XP?
What version of Internet explorer? On your browser click help>about IE.
What type of connection do you have? Dial-up, broadband, cable?
Are you using a firewall? Which one?

I'll be off for a while but I'm sure someone will be along with some suggestions.
