I have a problem that the left side is gray and does not show anything when the folders tab is selected in windows explorer. It will show "search" and "history" fine, just not "folders ". Does anyone know how to correct this? Thanks.

    tamooreindy, welcome to Windows BBS

Explorer and internet explorer are inergrated,,
have you tried the folder button in IE --same results ?

Try an Internet explorers repair ,, with all ies and other windows closed, go to control panel >addremove programs> and find and start the uninstall for "microsift internet explorer &tools ".
once you start it there will be an option to repair.
let us know if this does the trick ?
