For some reason I can't 'sign out' of MSN.

When I go to My Groups it says I'm Signed In but my user name doesn't show. When I try to read a message it says I am not signed in, but it shows that I am. I try to sign in and nothing happens ... just as when I sign out. The screen goes blank (except for the headers) and nothing happens.

I've tried rebooting, cold and warm, and nothing changes.

Does anyone know what I'm doing or not doing that is causing me such frustration? I use Norton SystemWorks 2004 and Zone Alarm Pro for protection. Could this be causing conflict?

    Lochinvar

I had that problem at Sudhian forums it was a cookie thing. I had to put it in my trusted zone . I only allow the trusted to have cookies. Internet zone can have a per session cookie. or prompt. It keeps the clutter down but can cause problems with certain sites.

    Maggie,
Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Someone on the Game Zone suggested I go to the "nibblesnbits" website which I did and found it a mine of information!

My question was answered and I was taken through some new settings. Apparently they got messed up when I installed Zone Alarm Pro. I dropped Pro and installed the free version. After resetting, no more problems.

    Thanks for helping,
    Lochinvar :D

Glad you got it working. Took me many emails to the webmaster before I could put all the hints together.
