What is best IE for 98

    Will IE 6 work on Windows98 or do I have to use 5.x?

    I've used both IE 5X and IE 6 on windows 98. Neither one of them gave me any trouble at all. There's really no guarantees when doing an upgrade as involved as IE is but if it were me I'd go with IE 6. In my opinion it's best to have the newer version. Things on the net are geared to it. Just my two cents worth. Others may disagree.

    Go with IE 6 - MS will not support 5.5 for ever :)
