VPN option not available

    Running Win XP Pro, wireless ADSL connection. trying to setup VPN to work network using WinXP pro built in VPN.

    goto New Connection, select connect to network at my work place, then the next screen has two greyed out/unavailable options;

    dialup
    virtual private network connection

    pls help.

    Copied from MS KB article, 329441:

    To resolve this problem, reinstall SP1 for Windows XP. If the problem is not resolved, make sure the Telephony, Remote Access Connection Manager, and Remote Access Auto Connection Manager services are running.

    If that doesn't do the trick, take a look at the above article for registry changes to fix things.
