Back Button Blues !!!

Okay, I must have missed something. Anytime I hit the back button now I get a "Warning- Page has expired................. "
then I have to click refresh,then I get a messasge box, then I have to click on retry, then it finally reloads the page I was previously viewing. Far more time consuming and frustrating than simply reviewing a page that was just in memory.

What gives ?

Tools~internet options and in the Temporary Internet Files section, click on settings. You can get specifics about the meaning of each setting if you click the question mark symbol at the top and then click by each setting.

You probably want automatic from the sound of your problem but see what each option will do.

 

Does this message box say something about Post Data, and resending it?

 

YES, it does say you must post data and try resending it, you can either choose RETRY or CANCEL in the message box.
