Blaster Worm

    I had to use my restore disks; I evidently had gotten the Blaster worm. According to Norton, I still have it. Norton identified it; said they couldn't do anything but quarantine it. There are 2 files involved: teekids.exe and msblast.exe. Would it do any good to just delete them?
    WinXP seems to be ok now for the most part; I can't drag and drop tho.
    What do I need to do?

    Hello texmiss,

    Yes, get rid of them and then go here and use some of the on-line virus/trojan checkers from here:

    http://www.wilders.org/free_services.htm

    If you continue to have problems, post back. I don't think you did a "clean" reinstall.
