CDROM And CDRW Sound Cable?

    To which device do I attach the sound cable? There`s only one place on the sound card ? Isn`t there ?

    Moore,

    That would be a personal choice. Which ever one you plan to use for audio CDs, plug that one in.

    More than likely your sound card has a cdrom connection and an auxiliary connection on it. If so, you can connect one of the drives to each of them. If you use the auxiliary connection you have to make sure it's not muted in your sound control applet (double click on the speaker in the system tray) . If you check and it's not there, open the sound control and click options>properties and put a checkmark next to auxiliary.

    Hi,
    I have a audio cable that has 2 connectors for DVD-Rom and CDR-
    RW Burner that way you can use eighter as long as you don't try to use them together at the same time.

    sound cable

    You can get a sound cable at cyberguys that will allow you to connect both drives to your sound card. I have one in my system and it works fine.
