I have just found out about this new e-mail client and am testing before installing it on my main PC. I would really appreciate it if anyone has used or is using it would be able to advise on the actual program's worthiness as e-mail software. It received a very good write up in a computer magazine which prompted me to try it. I have tried Incredimail but am now very wary of this program and am transferring all mail from this to Outlook so I can uninstall ASAP!
Once this is done I would consider a new mail client one of which is Pocomail.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I've been using Pocomail for quite a while and I love it.

Much easier to use than Eudora, highly configurable under Options and works great with my AV (NOD 32) and Firetrust Benign.

I really like the ability to save the Pocomail Backup folder to a USB flash drive for safe archiving of my critical e-mail... if you ever have to reinstall Windows, all your saved e-mail is immediately restorable by just using the Restore function in Pocomail.

This is a very stable e-mail program with very little resource use, infinitely superior to browser e-mail programs... just my opinion though.:)

Thank you for this positive feedback. I have only been using it over the last few days but as it was so very new to me I needed a little feedback from others who have used it for much longer.
I feel as with all e-mail clients there are bugs even with the ones provided by Microsoft themselves.

I have been looking at other clients and following up the user issues with them and have not found one that doesn't have one issue or another. I really feel that it is like most software a lot depends on your actual PC's setup and just in what way you use the program. The issue that caused me concern was that the fact it can duplicate mail until I realised this person was downloading a lot more e-mail in the day than I would have in the full week!

One thing is for sure I will be uninstalling the very unstable IM! I like the little resources part.

    Thanks again for your reponse.

    Hi.

I have been using PocoMail for a very long time and have recommended it to all my users. It is extremely stable and very easy to use. Takes a little while to go through all the capabilities and select the ones you want but thats just a lot of fun.

I would venture to say it is the best one around bar none. You can have multiple emails with it and even sign off and sign on as someone else with all different emails. Tremendous capabilities. I highly recommend it.

I am really getting to like this even more. I agree there are lots of features to try and work out but the more I delve into it the more I realise what power it has. I feel that once I know what does what then it will prove to be as all the UK magazines are reporting a very nice e-mail client. I am much happier when I hear reports from long time users and not just depend on a magazine review. Thanks again at least I will have the enthusiasm to continue with my evalutaion and hopefully learn how to use the best features to the full :) I know I will hear about bugs etc but as I said before most software has some sort of bug. At least this one seems to protect your privacy etc & also not bombard you with adverts :)
