I have a 512 mg of memory, when I open several programs, I get this message. Is there a tweak for win 98se so I can have these programs open and not get this?

The error is being generated from a VBScript that is running.
I see nothing on the web that indicates a solution, but I wonder if it is a System Resources issue, but is happening when a VBScript is running, and thus the RunTime 7 instead of the normal Out of Memory or Low on System Resources message.

    Catania:
You indicate that it occurs when you open several programs.

    1. What are these programs?
    2. I "presume" that you can cause the error at will? If so, as you start to run each new program, check on what the System Resource percentage is. OR, Run RSRCMTR and monitor them this way.
Particulary note the percentage as you start the last program that ultimately results in that error.

The other couple of things to check on that can cause out of memory errors are:
    1. Low available disk space so that the swapfile can not grow
    2. An upper limit (MAX) on the swapfile such that it can not get any larger.
