    i use win98. i just added my son as a new user. When he adds a program or game to his desktop, it also goes to mine. is there any way to avoid this.

    Go into Control Panel\Users. You can set it so you can have your own Desktop, Start Menu, and IE Favorites. Users is a little wizard program that does it for you.

    thank you. i have it figured out. i knew how to add him on, it was just a matter of trying different ways to keep it where our downloads didnt mix together. he needs his and i need mine.
