    My PC: Desktop with win2k

Those files are small in kb but there are so many of them that they have accumulated to a whopping 43+ MB int the C:\WINNT folder. Can I delete the following:
    xD---.tmp in c:\WINNT\Internet Logs and
    Mini----.dmp in c:\WINNT\Minidump
I am not too short on drive space but I find these files occupy too much space.

    Thanks for any help . . . . .

Not familiar with the xD*.tmp files or the 'internet log files' section under WINNT but in general, .tmp files are safe to delete unless they are part of an ongoing install or otherwise in use. So any older than a week or so should be safe to remove. If you want, move them somewhere for a few days (different folder) and make sure everything keeps running. If it does, you can delete them.

Minidump files contain crash information - usually from applications. I'd be concerned if the PC has very many of these but it is safe to remove them. Only possible downside is they may contain information tech support for the crashing app could use to diagnose.

Thanks to all for your help. True that those minidump got created as a result of the pc crashing. I got the pc fixed some weeks ago so I no longer need to show those dumps to anyone. So I'll just go ahead and delete them all.
