I have updated AVG today on my desktop PC & my laptop - tried to do a full system scan on both computers - when I double click I just see a flash and it will not scan. As I have it on 2 separate PC's I reckon it must be a bug in the update as it worked OK before today. I have checked AVG's site but nothing in the FAQ's about scan not working. It is scanning my e-mails just not my PC!

I have ran TDS-3 Trojan scan and it reports everything OK. Has anyone else updated AVG's program and found this? If so how do I fix it, please

    Hi Newt

I have eventually found a solution to my probelm. The update to the program I downloaded yesterday had an old file in it.

I had to download the new version from AVG Pro v7.0.197 and run a 'repair' install. Once this was done I had to download the AV definitions again - ran the complete system test and everything is bcak to normal now (including me ;) )

If anyone had the same problem with V7 Pro then this link should help resolve the matter.
