    RECOVERY CD,S

Do you mean a system backup cd to allow you to recover from a crash?I myself use winrescue xp which not only allows four seperate backups within the program ( these are floppy disk initiated) as well as a floppy restart disk will also let you make innumerable backups to cd which are dated.I used the 98 version quite often and it got me out of trouble a good few times.Have a look at http://superwin.com/rescuexp.htm

I used Drive Image 2002. I create the image files (.pqi extension) to a dedicated partition. I have two sets of files on the drive. One in case the most recent is a bit shady. I sometimes burn those files to CD. If necessary, I boot the computer from floppy and execute the CDs.

To make smaller files, I have three partitions: OS/Programs, DATA, and Drive Image files. I'm running XP. The first two partitions are NTFS and the Drive Image Partition is FAT 32.

You can get Drive Image 2002 for about $26 here:
