    Hi,

    Havent been here for a while as all was working ok till yesterday !

    Since installing a 'new' GeForce3 Ti500 (for my plain GeForce3) I keep getting the same error message on restarts and NOT (so far) on initial boot-up;

    SDRAM SERIAL PRESENCE DETECT ABSENTED and a beep from my MoBo - windows still loads and the PC works great. Mystery??

    I've been running 512mb of PC133 SDRAM on my MS6156 MoBo (fsb100) for some time with no previous problems, except for a very rare FE on boot-up which i've now forgotten but was maybe 0187:........ ?

    Any ideas chaps ?:confused:

    Pete,

    Thanks but i've come across this thread already - didnt really help as i've no ECC control in my AMIBIOS - Both sticks are non-parity 256mb's.

    My problem only appears on restart and not cold boot - perculiar??

    I'll keep looking,

    POMAK
