I'm suddenly having some trouble with my word documents. In all the documents I can see all the symbols which indicate spaces, returns, tabs, etc. The printed versions are ok, though. Does anyone know how to disable this function?

    Hi Tore,

    Try this:

    Tools>Preferences>View

    uncheck the following:

    Paragraph Marks
    Tab Characters
    Spaces

    Cheers,

Tore, also on the toolbar there is a button that looks like a backwards "P ". It is quite easy to accidently click on this button and that will turn on the editing marks and symbols as well. Just click on it to turn them on/off.
