Cannot print out e-mail or web pages

I upgraded from IE5 to IE6 from the web. Now whenever I try and print out any info I get a popup:

An error has occured in the script on this page
Line: 228
Char: 1
Error: Incompatible version of the RPC stub
Code: 0

I have:
Windows 98 SE
PIII-550
56K voice modem
