I want to stop the box that wants me to send details of my error to MS whenever anything goes wrong

I think there must be millions of these going to MS and they cannot possibly react to them all

    Hi

Go to the control panel - System - double click click - advanced tab - you will see at the bottom of this section a button 'error reporting' click on this and make the changes to stop sending error reports but notify if critical error or choose to stop it completely.

You should also check out your 'services' in the admin. section. scroll down until you see 'error reporting' right click - properties - you can stop the service and then disable if you do not want it at all.

I am undecided about this as I know if you click on the details you can find out which application caused the error. I also do not know if MS will act on errors reported in this way (especially if it was not a MS application that caused the crash ;) )
