I have a new system with onboard video and an open AGP slot. I only have 1 monitor, but XP has me in dual monitor mode. I tried to delete the video drivers, but they keep coming back! In SYSTEM, I disabled the AGP video...this is the only way I can get anything in more than 2 colors!!! Tried to re-install drivers...it works until I reboot, then same problem occurs....can anyone help me?!?!

Have you gone into Control Panel>Display>Settings tab for a way to disable the dual monitor settings?

I tried that, and all it shows is that I have 2 monitors, but it doesn't show any way to get rid of either of them...it just shows one with 2 colors, and the other with true and high res...

Thanks very much for responding, though...I really appreciate it!!!

    Any other ideas?? Please help!!!

The information and graphics on this page show you how to enable dual monitors so doing the opposite should disable dual monitors. ;)

From what I gather on that page, going to Control Panel>Display>Settings tab and clicking on the monitor you don't want...which should have a 2 on it...will give you options to enable/disable it.
