Outlook Express 6 Backup

I am running OE6 on a Windows XP base. How can I make a backup file of my mails and address book?

Hi Hamilton!

In Outlook Express, click Archive > Export >

I have exported my Address book but never my Messages.

Thanks for your response, but the fact is that I was able to backup both, mails and address book of OE6 while I was using a Windows 98 base. Now with the WXP I don't know how to do it.

Just for your info, on a W98 base you should do the following:

To Backup mails of Outlook Express:

Go to: C/Windows/application data/identities -- then you make a BUP copy of the entire folder

To BUP Address Book:

Go to: C/Windows/application data/microsoft/address book -- then you make a BUP copy of the address book

In WinXP those folders are in C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application data\ ......

...... \Identities for the E-mail folders and
...... \Microsoft\Address Book
