Boot Up Log for XP

Anyone know of a good boot logging program for Windows XP (freeware or shareware)? I am using BootVis but would like a more detailed view of what's going on during the boot process.

A detailed log of registry activity during boot can be made by NTRegmon:

Go to Options, Log Boot.

 

Thanks for the tip. I did download and try the little software. It showed all the registry calls and was informative but I am really looking for something that can either graphically or otherwise show me the boot sequence and the time it takes for each service to load. I'm having a real problem finding out why it's taking so long to boot Windows XP.
I have searched 'high and low' trying to find something but so far have come up empty handed. I sure would be nice to see something like that when bootups and shutdowns take excessive times.
