Command Prompt question

does anyone know what the command is to have a net send continuely recur. There is a command for it, but i don't know what it is.

 

Why do you want to continually send the same message?

Are you thinking about the AT command set in Windows? You can set up recurring jobs using that.

 

tbnguyen - my first thought and the reason I asked him why was that he intended to annoy someone with continuous pop-ups from windows messenger.

If there is a legit purpose for what I read as a desire to send the same message to the same PC or group of PCs over and over and over, I'd love to hear it.

 

Newt, never thought of it that way. I guess that I work only with business professionals; therefore, I lose track of what nuisance certain tools can be when placed in the wrong hands.

The following line will send the same net send message 10 times, to send it more times just change the 10 to something higher!

for /l %a in (1,1,10) do net send [computername] is this really annoying yet?

if you want a delay between each command get a copy of sleep.exe or similar delay program and do

for /l %a in (1,1,10) do net send [computername] is this really annoying yet? && sleep 10
