I cannot print unless I log-off first. Yet the task bar indicates that I am printing but output is not sent to the printer. But after I log-off, I am able to print continuously as many as I want. This is inconvenient especially when I am in a hurry to print.

Any idea here? I am in a stand alone computer.

    Thanks.

try to re-install the printer while you are logged on with the user that you cannot print while you are logged on with, it should solve you the problem.

    Didn't Work

I followed this suggestion of re-installing the printer software while logged in this user. Still the problem persisted.

As a temporary remedy, I added a printer driver of a lower version that was available in my computer. The problem was solved i no longer need to log-off when I print for the first time. But the trade-off is that I am printing at a lower resolution (only up to 300 dpi is available).

I'm still on a look-out for a better solution to my problem.

You could try going to the web site of your printer maker. See if there is anything there that they may be aware of assiciated with your problem. Email tec support there and see what they suggest since it appears to be a driver problem. They may even have an updated driver for you to download. Never know.
