win2k large capacity drives

    Hi,

    can someone tell me where i can get a patch for win2k so that it recodnises my 160gb hard disk. at the moment it only "see" 131gb of it.

    Happy to try to tell you if you give a hint what hard drive and controller you have.

    Windows 2000 using NTFS can support multi-terabyte drives.

    You could be running into the 137.4 GB ATA Barrier (Western Digital page) or similar.

    Hi

    sorry, not enought detail. Its a 160gb calalier western digital drive.

    I cant remember if i installed it usign the Ntfs format. How could i solve the problem if it is in FAT32?

    I did thanks, but it didn't seem to have any awnsers, just for the manifacturers and alike. not for the poor people who buy the software and hardware
