    Hello,

I'm having trouble getting a POP3 server with Outlook.

I add all the correct account information (it works in OE fine), but clicking on "Inbox" does nothing; no emails show; etc. It doesn't appear to even try to connect to the POP3 server to get the email.

    Any ideas?

Unlike Outlook Express, which checks for mail immediately when opening, here's a long delay...10 to 30 seconds, depending on your computer...before Outlook checks for email.

Like OE, there is a display in the lower right corner of the Outlook window that tells you when it's checking. If you're fast enough, you can click on it and then click on Details to see what's going on.

If you aren't quick enough, go to Tools>Send and Recieve and click on your account's name in the submenu that pops up. You should then get the Details window letting you know what it's doing...or trying to do.
