PPPoE Connection as a Windows XP Service

    Is is possible to set aWindows PPPoE connection as a service so it starts on boot up like the older DLS connections. Perhaps with third party software.

    Rasdial command can be used to dial the connection in a batch file if necessary. Use task scheduler to launch the program or batch file when the computer starts or a tool like firedaemon or autoexnt
