Help Please... I have a Dell 8100 pent 4, with 384mbram and am using Windows me os. A while back, I loaded another Hard Drive and loaded windows xp on the second hard drive...things went well for a very short time..then I had a Blue Screen and lost everything on D drive..thru my own mistakes, I lost everything on C drive...Now I have reloaded C Drive with me and it is running good..What I would like to do is reload xp on the second hard drive...I have tried and it will not load..the computer continues to try to load xp on Drive C and that will mess up windows me...Question: Does anyone know what I can do to get my pc to allow me to reload windows xp on the second hard drive.

Or, you could swap your current C drive with the new one, jumper it as Master, and install WinXP. Swap them back and install a boot manager (Boot Magic), in WinME. Now connect the new drive as a Slave, and configure the boot manager so you can select which O/S you wish to use. :)

This way the O/S's will be independent of each other. HTH :)

Kevin, I am going to try your recommendation and I do thank you...I will have to wait a few days, as my Daughter is my guru and she has her own business, and so it will be a few days before she is available...Again,,,thank you so much:\

Luga: I am afraid that your suggestion is much over my head..I am only in the beginning area knowledge wise, so I am not sure how to do it...Thanks for your help...
